The transformation of a garden from the old layout to the new design is always an exciting time for both the garden designer and the client.  The size and scale of the landscaping works can take clients aback, especially in the early days of the project.  In the case study section of the website is ‘A Woodland Garden’ (https://www.polleygardendesign.com/case-studies/a-woodland-garden.html) and I thought I would share in my next few blogs images of the transformation of this garden.

There had been periodic building works carried out on the bungalow over the years and quite a lot of debris had been buried in the garden, including a layer of bricks under the lawn which caused drainage problems and the poor condition of the lawn. All of this had to be removed from site. The use of machinery makes this process fast and efficient.

Next stage – creation of the new driveway and garden…
